BBC America is now playing a lot of the old 60's adventure shows. Last night they showed the first episode "Arrival".
They also played some Avengers and the Saint. I hope this is a Friday night regular schedule.

Re: BBC America
Sun, July 11, 2004 - 3:44 PMIt's apparently going to be running for at least the full length of the Prisoner, so that's what, 4 months right there? -

Mon, July 12, 2004 - 2:01 PMI'd like it if they would show the Doctors over the years, beginning with the old black-and-white transmissions. Coincidentally, I saw the name Pertwee on either the the Avengers episode or the Saint ep, run last Friday --- wasn't he one of the Doctors? -

Re: BBC America
Mon, July 12, 2004 - 3:00 PMThat's right. Pertwee was in and episode of The Avengers. It was the Venus episode. Keep watching and you will find the Master in an Avengers episode too. -

Re: BBC America
Mon, July 12, 2004 - 3:02 PMYes, in fact, the episode shown was entitled "The Venusian Conspiracy" (If memory serves). People who watched the planet in question were getting zapped to death by bolts of white face powder---"Even the soot was white," Emma P. notes. -

Re: BBC America
Mon, July 12, 2004 - 3:33 PMThat's the same plot as the final episode of The Monkees. If anyone's interested.
